More on that topic that was from my podcast this week. Good write up from the NYT about the tensions between China and India. And that Warren Ellis post certainly got a lot of traffic this week. Perhaps people were hoping for more sordid details. There aren't any beyond what I told you and what I remember. I won't be adding my story to that website I linked

I don't really want to jump on any coattails or be accused of "clout chasing". That's never been my interest or my jam or my modus operandi. I was going to say something about the accusations a few weeks ago in a podcast and then- I just kind of felt like letting it go. But then I made this podcast this week, which got me to thinking. And then this happened. And I had to have a discussion or two in my DMs on twitter because I, too, was once part of Warren's forum. And I, too, had a similar experience with Warren. The only difference or maybe the only positive thing about it is that I, too, was dropped like a sack of hot potatoes from his life. But it never got to the point as many

A little housekeeping about the website- Starting to get one or two comments on this website- always really thoughtful and great comments that bear discussion. (Check out the one from my last podcast- great stuff. Have asked to repost it as an actual post here.) Seeing that, I felt that the comments on here needed to be improved so now I have threaded comments so that you have the actual ability to respond to someone. I think it makes it far more engaging and engaging is what I want. I landed a small piece of business for my company this week. It isn't much but its more than I had before and that makes me very happy. Any way I can grow my client base for my consulting company, I'm all for. I really am

Featured image from the last great Depression. Well, this news certainly isn't "tasty". (Man, I am so sick of being gloom and doom). Take a look at this chart: https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/29/nearly-half-the-us-population-is-without-a-job-showing-how-far-the-labor-recovery-has-to-go.html I look at that chart above and think, "that can't be true". It's rather shocking. But I think some more and I currently know two people personally who lost their jobs. So I ask you: [poll id="2"] (Now we'll see that only one person reads this website

Back when Tekwh0re.net used to be popular, I had forums. I ran them under Tekwh0re.net and Veritas Parit. I'm tempted to start them again however they don't work unless people actually use them. They were very interesting when I had them. In some ways, I'm trying to rebuild a posse again, I suppose. A group of creative, technical, political, deep thinking cadre of idea sharing and discussion. Twitter is far too short for this. Mind you- Might be Tasty isn't getting the traffic yet either to really begin to start thinking about supporting itself but I'm working on it. Maybe I'm just super nostalgic for the early 2000's. I think people's dumbfuckery was less on display then. I mean here is the real question: Have people gotten dumber or has technology gotten

Crazy awful week- what can I say? I hate drama and politics. Besides wanting credit for work that I have done/created, I want to be a low key, under the radar kinda woman. I don't want to be the queen of anything in corporate America. I mean to me, that is a stupid goal as I would much rather rule life. That being said, things haven't been going well lately. My stress has been through the roof. I'm literally in a situation I have no control over and it's rough. Add in the COVID pandemic and the nonsense that is our current American leadership and that leads to a feeling of being trapped indeed. Wait.. then add to that the EU says Americans might be banned and can we say "trapped and claustrophobic"? Anyway,
